Our new location temporary in Den Burg
Restaurant RJ is temporarily relocating to Den Burg with a pop-up restaurant. We look forward to welcoming you there for an unforgettable culinary experience.
As soon as our Boutique Hotel Tide is ready, RJ will be moving to this new location in De Koog, where we will be opening a completely refurbished fine dining restaurant and a stylish wine bar.
Changing menu
Our kitchen staff likes to work with seasonal produce. The dishes on our lunch and dinner menus change several times a year. We give classics our own touch and combine them with new culinary creations.
In our restaurant, you can enjoy a fantastic surprise menu consisting of 4, 5, 6 or 7 courses. Would you like to be completely surprised? Then make it complete and choose our all-in menu. Would you rather eat à la carte? This is possible up to 5 persons. Above that, a menu will be offered. Of course, we try to take dietary requirements or allergies into account as much as possible.
Lunch is from 12:00 to 16:00

Self-reliance is in the genes of Texelaars. As islanders, we are used to fending for ourselves. Some may call that cocky, we prefer to call it self-willed. We like to do things a little differently. That is also what we do in the kitchen of Restaurant & Winebar RJ. We combine culinary creativity with honest products, from Texel or from the region. We find it important to know the origin or source of our ingredients. We choose pure, recognisable flavours and let them come into their own in surprising dishes.
